Hi Marlin Parents,
Please read carefully as there are a few important follow up items we would like everyone to be aware of!!
Marlin apparel orders – attached is the Marlin apparel order form that was handed out at registration. If you did not receive one, or were not at sign ups, please take a look and send Joannie Barrus (jandm@ameritech.net) your orders by May 6th.
T-shirts, Hoodies and Towels are available at great prices!!
Swim Suits: We are going to place an order for swim suits on-line this year. If you are interested in purchasing a team suit (we encourage you to, but they are not required) then we need to know the SIZE of suit you need. The suit is a Nike brand suit. If you are unsure of size you can go to any sporting good store, like Dick’s, and try on racing suits (Speedo, etc.) Most sizes are comparable. Please send Kathy Shepherd your sizing info to place your order. You can find the suit online at www.swimoutlet.com. Go to Nike suits, (women)NikeSwim Color Block Spliced SKU: T9SS0176. For boys suit: Nike Swim Team Color Block Core Splice Jammer SKU: T8SS6024. We need your size by May 1st. Price will be approximately $52.oo for girls and $36 for boys. We will collect payment when we determine what the actual pricing will be.
Lastly and most importantly: Due to the low number of registrants (approx 45) we have many blanks in our sign up sheets for the swim meets!!! PLEASE – The Board is requesting everyone work one more dual meet. So – check what meets you have signed up for and let Kathy Shepherd know what other date is good for you so we get some of these important jobs filled.
If we do not get support from the families we will NOT be able to run our swim meets!!!
Along those lines: The food donations sign ups are very bare... if you would be willing to donate food for another meet please let us know that, too! We really need the profits from our concessions to keep the team running!!
We will be following up with the adjusted practice times for the various swimmers once we get the final count and ages for the team members!! So stay tuned for that info.
