Pool Safety: Lifeguards are required to close the pool for 30 minutes following the last instance of thunder and/or lightning. The clock restarts when new thunder is heard or lightning is seen by the pool staff.
Pool Opening/Closing Policy: A number of factors are carefully considered when the pool closes due to inclement weather. Please refer to the link HERE to see the complete closing and opening policy.
New Residents: Physical passes are not issued. The front desk will identify you and your family through a photo-based recognition system for each visit. We ask that residents who are new to Meadowood, or, have not attended the pool in several years, provide proof-of-address information at their first visit only: i.e., a utility bill, home ownership document, or rental agreement (if renting). Each resident household is allotted 40 guest passes per season. For a more thorough list of pool rules and regulations, please click HERE.
Pool Inquiries: Should you have any issues, comments or questions regarding the use and/or operation of the Meadowood Pool, please contact Pool Trustee and Committee Member, Jim Jankura, (440) 590-1542.
Swim Lessons: Sessions will be posted and conducted early in the pool season. Lessons take place on a weekly basis before noon. Sign ups are necessary, as well as parental supervision during swim lessons. More information on lessons will be available as instructors and class times can be coordinated. There is a minimum number of swimmers required to hold group lessons.
