In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 28, 2024, several residents on Gate Post Rd reported theft incidents involving unlocked cars parked in their driveways.  It is advised that all affected residents call the Strongsville Police and, if necessary, file a formal police report.

What can you do?

Prevent easy access to your vehicles by locking all doors. Do not store valuables in vehicles overnight, even if the doors are locked.

​

Consider removing garage door openers from vehicles overnight to prevent access to garages and home interiors.

​

See something suspicious? Call the Strongsville Police immediately at 9-1-1.

​

If you have video surveillance of your property that could be helpful, consider sharing it with your fellow residents.
