As per the Meadowood Covenants and Restrictions, the outdoor lampposts near the tree lawn cannot be modified and must remain in working order. The globe color can be white or clear. The original "crackle glass" globes provided by Bob Schmitt Homes are also acceptable although are no longer in production. Meadowood Association does not sell globes for residential purchase.

New globes, posts, collars, and photo cells can be purchased from HomeDepot, or, any retailer that sells similar products. Repairs should be done by a qualified electrician or contractor of the homeowner's choice. The homeowner is responsible for replacement materials and/or labor costs associated with the upkeep of their lampposts.
